assets/config.js after publication.After the extension is published, install it from Google Chrome Add-ons and pin WordTrail from the Chrome extensions menu. During development, open chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, and choose Load unpacked.
Refresh the webpage after installing or updating the extension. Confirm WordTrail is enabled for the site. Browser-internal pages, extension-store pages, and some protected documents do not allow content scripts.
Confirm the device is online and Edge is not blocking the Supabase domain. Sign out, reopen the popup, and sign in again. The Edge build uses direct public HTTPS requests and does not require Local Network Access permission.
Try a shorter selection and confirm both source and target languages are selected. Translation depends on the WordTrail Supabase Edge Function and Google Cloud Translation, so temporary provider or network outages may interrupt requests.
WordTrail supports DRM-free EPUB files. Files protected by digital rights management, malformed archives, or unusually large embedded media may not import correctly. Exporting plain text can be used as a fallback.
Delete local cards and books inside WordTrail, or uninstall the extension to remove extension-local storage. For deletion of a signed-in cloud account and synchronized data, use the support contact shown on the Google Chrome Add-ons listing.
